Red Dead Redemption 2 has made its long awaited debut on PC. I wasn’t reviewing games at the time of its original release, but I can easily recommend picking this up. This game is a masterpiece in every sense. If you’ve yet to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on console, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try.
Rockstar has added a whole lot of graphical updates along with the new release. The game already looked absolutely stunning, the fact that they were able to push it even further is pretty impressive. That being said, your PC will need to be packing some power if you want to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on max settings. According to Nvidia, Rockstar’s recommended specs aren’t going to cut it. Here’s a great article by PC Gamer for more details on that.
Amongst other things, Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will come with a slew of extra content as well. That includes some story additions, as well as “Photo Mode”. Photo Mode is a free form camera that’ll allow you to capture images of the game in all its 4K beauty. It’ll also come with Red Dead Online, the online mode everyone else had to wait forever for until Rockstar got it working.
Finally, if playing a western isn’t your thing, at least do yourself a favor and listen to the soundtrack. The music is incredible and compliments the game perfectly.
Yea, in case you haven’t noticed, I really love this game. Go try it out!
