Smash Bros. DLC fighter four, Terry Bogard, has finally arrived! In a 48 minute video, Masahiro Sakurai went over everything from arcade, NEO-GEO history, to Terry’s origins and moveset inspiration. It’s definitely worth a watch, as it clearly shows Sakurai’s passion for games, and you’ll learn some important pieces of gaming history.
If nothing else, we also got this gem of a quote from Sakurai explaining why Fatal Fury mainstay, Mai Shiranui, didn’t make a guest appearance.
Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is for good boys and girls of many different ages, so we decided not to feature her.

Smash Bros. version 6.0.0 brings buffs to a few characters who desperately needed them, but leaves the rest of the cast untouched. Here are the complete character patch notes.

Finally, Arena mode got a few updates too. The arena host can now change the ruleset without having to close the arena. They’ve also added an “Elite Only” arena mode, for all the professionals out there. And most importantly, we can now send pre-set messages in the arena, because we’re good boys and girls.
That pretty much covers it. There’s no word on who or when the next fighter will be revealed, but until then, I have to go do more research on Mai Shiranui.
